Laurel Lake & Cumberland Falls

The scenic waterfalls at Cumberland Falls are impressive, often being referred to as "the Niagara of the South." Anytime of the year, Cumberland Falls is a breathtaking site; but for a truly unforgettable experience, visit during a full moon to try to catch a glimpse of the moonbow; this extremely rare phenomenon, formed by the mist in the air from the falls, is one of only two naturally occurring moonbows in the world.
